The IS 61 staff is so proud of our students effort during remote learning. We would like to wish all of a students and families a wonder summer vacation. We will also like to congratulate our 8th graders and wish then success in High School. |

IS 61 is a Food Site
IS 61 Q is a location for free "Grab and Go" meals. 3 free meals are available for all New Yorkers Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. Meals Hubs will operate for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. |

Parent Teacher Conference Update
Based on current
recommendations from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene,
and in an abundance of caution, March Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled
for Thursday evening and Friday afternoon will still take place; however, parents
should not attend in person. IS 61 teachers will be
making phone calls, emailing or sending progress reports home. |
